The dominating feature of the park is the massive statue of Wisnu which was constructed using giants slabs of brass and copper. The statue stands at a height of 22 metres and it represents a divine force responsible for protecting the universe. There is also a large statue of the bird Garuda, a symbol of selfless devotion and freedom.

The park is also a popular location for cultural festivals and prayer. Each day a traditional Balinese Kecak dance is performed for visitors held in the amphitheatre at 6.30pm in the evening, with other traditional Balinese dances taking place at various times throughout the day.

The park is huge, covering around 60 hectares of land and is located about 15 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. There is not much shade here, so make sure to bring a hat or an umbrella as it can get very hot walking around the grounds. There are also toilets as well as restaurants where you can get a snack or a cold drink.
