Kuta

Famed for its long pristine coastline that stretches from Denpasar Airport to Jimbaran, Kuta is an amazing getaway for those looking for a relaxing holiday right in the centre of the action.

Previously a fishing village, Kuta has grown remarkably over the years, and today takes pride in being the most popular tourist destination in Bali.

With Legian and Seminyak to the north, Kuta is strategically placed near many of the main attractions in Bali. If you are looking for a fun day in the sun during your holiday in Bali, then look no further than Waterbom Park; a tropical island water park located in the heart of Kuta. Waterbom Park has activities and attractions to suit everyone with thrilling rides, relaxing sunbeds, lazy rivers and dining options. Bring the whole family and have a fun day out!

Kuta beach is packed with attractions for just about everyone. Visit the old Buddhist temple, or shop at one of the numerous shopping malls. Visit the restaurants and bars, or get a massage on the beach. You can find everything here at Kuta Beach.

Whilst visiting Kuta, travel up to Tanah Lot Temple which is perched on a rocky outcrop over the sea. Located near North Kuta, this temple is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Bali. Visitors are not permitted to enter the temple, as it is only open to worshippers, however, the views of the temple are magnificent.

One of the most important landmarks in Kuta is the Bali bombing memorial which was constructed at the site of what used to be Paddy’s Pub. The memorial honours the lives of those who perished in the terrorist attacks of 2002, and visitors passing through the town can pay their respects at the well-preserved monument.

Kuta is easily accessible by taxi and public bus as it is just 5 kilometres from Denpasar Airport. Make sure to visit Kuta on your next trip to Bali. Click the link below to book your accommodation today!
