Bali Sea

The Bali Sea is located north of Bali and lies south of Indonesia. The sea is expansive and covers an area of about 44,000 square kilometres and is 1.6 kilometres deep.

Bali Sea is an important part of the island’s tourism as it is home to numerous sea temples and water activities.

One of the most iconic temples is the Tanah Lot temple, best known for its enchanting location on the seashores and its majestic sunset views. As one of the island’s most iconic attractions, it is easy to see why visitors would travel across the sea to get to this stunning location.

Uluwatu Temple is yet another prominent attraction whose proximity to Bali Sea makes it an amazing getaway. Visitors who make the time to visit this sea temple are rewarded with picturesque views of a golden sunset against the background of monkeys chattering in the forest.

In addition to the numerous attractions, there are plenty of accommodation options close to the sea. Villas are a common sighting as these give a secluded getaway that allows guests some privacy. A number of resorts along the sea have also created a booming industry in the tourism sector.

Transport across Bali Sea is easily available by speed boats and ferries that transport visitors to their locations of choice. Although note that most ferries leave from more southern locations on the island.
