Bali Wedding

Bali can be a fabulous location to have a destination wedding due to the warm weather, beaches, cheap accommodations and facilities available.

In order to have the best experience, planning is key. Here are a few tips to help you plan the best destination wedding in Bali.

Bali Wedding Planner & Venues, Packages & Prices, Destination Wedding

As a general guide, the best time to hold a Bali wedding is between the months of April to October. The rainy season in Bali is between November and March and unexpected downpours can occur. This could hinder your plans for a beach wedding, so it is best to plan for the dry season when rain is infrequent.

Make sure to hire a wedding planner. It is imperative that you have a local contact who can deal with the locals in their native language. They will also handle everything for you from photographers, DJ’s, venues, villa accommodation, flowers, cakes, hairdressers, makeup and catering. The other benefit is that they often know the cheapest places to go, so can get you a good deal that you would other wise not be able to get.

As for venues, there are a number of 5-star resorts and hotels that host beachside weddings and can also put on a full dinner for you and your guests, or host a cocktail party or relaxed get-together by the pool. The options are endless.

Be sure to educate yourself on your home countries legal requirements are to make the marriage in Bali binding. You will need to figure out what legal paperwork is required in Bali and may need to present certificates. Contact the consulate or embassy in your country to find out about the papers needed for a wedding in Bali.
