Surfers love to ride on the big waves, and both professionals and novices can enjoy this beach. It is important to note that the beach is home to left-handers, and only has a single reef break. The latter is sometimes a challenge when everyone wants to ride on a particular wave simultaneously. The best time to go surfing at Bingin Beach is during high tide which occurs mid-morning.

Swimming is also a popular activity, but swimmers must be careful at all times as the waters are sometimes very unpredictable and there are hidden reefs.

Bingin Beach is located at a quiet village known as Pecatu, in the southern region of Kuta district. It is a 30-minute drive from Denpasar Airport and just a 5-minute walk from the famous Uluwatu Temple. The beach’s proximity to numerous attractions makes it a convenient destination for those who would like to tour Bali.
