Batu Belig Beach

Batu Belig Beach is a beach located on the south-westerly side of the island, just above the popular areas of Kuta and Seminyak.

It is a beach that has remained undefiled for years and therefore offers travellers a peaceful holiday without the hoards of tourists.

Batu Belig Beach Bali, Hotel Accommodation, Resorts & Villas

Batu Belig Beach remains a natural attraction of interest, thanks to the surrounding rice terraces that add to the lush landscape. There are also many lotus ponds located nearby, which give this beach area a unique look.

The beach’s proximity to Seminyak makes it popular with expats and luxury travellers. Hotel, resort and villa accommodation is readily available with visitors being spoilt for choice.

To get around this area, there are plenty of taxi services available. Finding a taxi is extremely easy as taxis usually crawl along the main road beeping at tourists. Make sure to get a taxi with a meter, look for the Bluebird Group taxis, otherwise ensure you negotiate a price before getting in. As a guide, a 5km trip will cost around 40,000-50,000 IDR ($4-$5 AUD or $3-$4 USD).
