Bali has a population of approximately 4.2 million people with the main religion being Balinese Hinduism with the remainder following Islam.

The Indonesian currency is referred to as the Indonesian Rupiah and is denoted by the currency code IDR. The symbol of this currency is indicated as Rp. The rupiah consists of banknotes of 1000 rupiah up to 100,000 rupiah and coins in denominations of 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 rupiah.

Bali weather is roughly divided into two distinct patterns: months with wet weather and months with dry weather. Bali’s position on the equator ensures constant average temperatures. Even during wet months, the average temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.

Kuta is the most popular place to visit in Bali. Known for its vibrant nightlife, Kuta is perfect for the fun-loving adventure-seeking traveller. Ubud is another town in Bali that is arguably Bali’s cultural melting pot. With several natural attractions and the characteristic rolling rice paddies, this location is one that every traveller must experience.
