Bali Waterfalls

Due to its mountainous landscape, Bali is home to a range of beautiful waterfalls which can be visited at any time of year.

Some waterfalls can be reached by car and some require a trek through the forest, but all are a sight to behold.

Sekumpul, Munduk & Gitgit Waterfalls, Bali Tours & Treks to Hot Springs

Sekumpul Waterfalls are arguably the most spectacular falls in all of Bali. A great destination for the adventure-seeker, Sekumpul Waterfalls are a must-see attraction. To see Sekumpul Waterfall up close, it will require a bit of hiking for around 2 kilometres or 20-30 minutes. The falls are a fair walk away from the parking lot and you will have to travel down a couple of hundred steep stairs.

Munduk Waterfall is located close to Buyan Lake in the northern part of Bali which is quiet and not often visited by large numbers of tourists. The falls are located about 1km from Ngiring Ngawedang restaurant and the walk is easy to moderate but can be a little slippery.

Gitgit Waterfall, conveniently located in the North of Bali, is one of the most beautiful natural attractions on the island. The walk to the falls is relatively easy as there are wooden boardwalks over small gorges and small streams. The route down to the waterfall is only around a 10-minute walk with a few steps, but the track is signposted and easy to follow.

Tegenungan Waterfall is a popular tourist attraction located near Ubud in the centre of Bali Island. On arrival at Tegenungan Waterfall, you will need to descend about 100 steps before coming to the River Tukad Petanu, but the walk is not far at only around 1km.
