Yeh Pulu Temple

Yeh Pulu Temple is located in the sleepy village of Bedulu, a fertile rice field that is located about 26 kilometres from Bali’s capital, Denpasar.

The temple was constructed in the 14th century, and is home to some of the most intricate stone carvings in Bali.

Yeh Pulu Temple Ubud Bali Guided Tour, Entrance Fee & Dress Code

Yeh Pulu Temple’s location means that local rice farmers will make their way here from time to time, however, you won’t find hoards of tourists here, as it is a less known attraction in Bali.

A small entry fee will be requested upon entry (around 15,000 IDR) and local guides will offer to show your around, but just note that they will request a donation at the end of your tour (between 20,000 – 50,000 IDR). This is a small temple, so you probably don’t need a guide to show you around unless you want some further detail on history. If you decide not to take a guide it is perfectly acceptable to politely refuse.

You may find a local priestess is there to bless you with holy water. There is also a small restaurant on site, but not much else so make sure to take your own supply of water and snacks. You should also dress respectfully and wear a sarong to cover your knees and ankles and shoulders and midriffs should be covered.
